Her one-acre farm serves as a living testament to the power of sustainable farming practices and resource utilization. By implementing a “closed-loop” approach, Naluyima maximizes the potential of her farm, integrating pig, cattle, fish, and vegetable farming into harmonious quarters. Waste products are ingeniously repurposed, with pig waste fertilizing the vegetables, maggots becoming nourishment for fish and chickens, and cattle waste generating biogas for energy.
