The Famous
One Acre Model
Maximize space, eliminate waste, and multiply your income. Discover how Dr. Emma engineered a perfectly integrated ecosystem that turns an ordinary acre of land into a highly profitable, sustainable enterprise.
Farming With Brains, Not Just Brawn.
In traditional farming, waste is a problem. In the One Acre Model, waste is wealth.
Dr. Emma Naluyima designed this system to prove that you do not need hundreds of acres to be a successful commercial farmer. By dividing a single acre into strategic zones (livestock, crops, and fodder), and linking them together, the farm sustains itself.
The output of one section is the input of another. This drastically reduces operational costs, builds soil health, and creates multiple streams of income—daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.

100% Circular Ecosystem
How The Loop Works
Nothing leaves the farm except the final products you sell. Here is how the One Acre Model feeds itself.
1. Livestock (Pigs/Cows)
Animals are raised for meat and milk. Crucially, their dung and urine are collected daily through slatted floors, ensuring the pens remain clean and odor-free.
2. Biogas Digester
The animal waste flows directly into a biogas digester. This system breaks down the waste to produce free, clean cooking gas and electricity for the farm.
3. Black Soldier Flies
The leftover slurry from the digester is used to breed Black Soldier Fly larvae (maggots)—a high-protein, free feed source for poultry and fish.
4. Crops (Matooke)
The rich, processed slurry acts as a premium organic fertilizer for Matooke (bananas) and vegetables. The crop residues then go back to feed the livestock.
The Pillars of the Model
Maximum Space Utilization
Every square meter matters. We utilize vertical space (e.g., stacked poultry cages) and strict zoning to fit a massive operation into a tiny footprint.
Income Diversification
Earn money daily (milk/eggs), weekly (vegetables), monthly (piglets), and yearly (matooke/mature livestock). You are never without cash flow.
Drastically Reduced Costs
Feed and energy are the two highest costs in farming. By generating your own biogas and cultivating your own high-protein maggot feed, profits soar.
Environmental Restoration
No chemical fertilizers, no harmful run-off, and no deforestation. The soil becomes richer and healthier year after year.
See It To Believe It.
The best way to understand the One Acre Model is to walk it. Book a farm tour or schedule a consultation with Dr. Emma to learn how to apply these principles to your own land.
